About

I’ve. been. through. it.

You know those moments in life that knock the wind out of you?

Yeah, I’ve been there.

To the darkest places a soul can go. But here’s what I’ve learned: even in the deepest darkness, there’s always a spark of light. For me, that light comes in the form of yellow—bold, bright, and impossible to ignore. Yellow reminds me, every single day, to choose hope, joy, and the courage to keep going.

My journey started in front of the camera, where I got to play quirky and memorable roles on shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Malcolm in the Middle. I loved it, but life had a plot twist waiting for me. After surviving a tragic accident—an experience that would later inspire my debut novel, Aggressive Optimism—everything changed. That moment shattered my world but also rebuilt it, pushing me to discover a deeper purpose: telling stories that lift people up and remind them of their strength.

These days, I’m behind the scenes, producing films and series that inspire and challenge. As an award-winning producer with over 100 IMDb credits, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects that bring joy, spark change, and connect with audiences. Most recently, I was honored with a Telly Award for my work on Mattel's Barbie Dreamhouse, where I helped create content that encourages kids to embrace who they are and find joy in the little things.

Here’s the thing: every creative project comes with roadblocks. Life, too. But I’ve made it my mission to turn challenges into stepping stones. Whether I’m producing a film, writing a book, or helping others bring their ideas to life, I thrive on finding the “yes” in a sea of “no’s.”

My debut novel, Aggressive Optimism, is my heart on a page. It’s a #1 international bestseller that wraps hard-earned lessons in an entertaining, heartfelt story. Think of it as “spoonful of sugar” media—it’s a joyful, rebellious reminder that even life’s toughest moments can lead to something extraordinary. Now, I’m excited to take the next step: adapting it into a film or series to bring its message of hope and resilience to even more people.

At my core, I believe there’s no one “right” way to do anything. The magic lies in finding the path that works for you—and having the courage to take it. My goal, through everything I create, is to leave people feeling a little braver, a little lighter, and a whole lot more inspired.

When I’m not knee-deep in storytelling, I’m exploring the world, soaking up inspiration wherever I can find it. Whether it’s the buzz of a new city or a heart-to-heart with a stranger, I’m reminded that life is full of beautiful, unexpected moments that shape us—and those are the stories I love to tell.
